Fontana highlight
Auto Club Speedway
A 2-mile motorsports track that opened in 1997 on the site of the former Kaiser Steel Mill, hosting NASCAR Cup Series races and other major racing events.

Auto Club Speedway opened on June 20, 1997, built on the former Kaiser Steel Mill site in Fontana. Construction began on November 22, 1995, following the demolition of the steelworks and environmental remediation. The track is a D-shaped oval superspeedway designed to host multiple forms of motorsports competition.
For more than two decades, the speedway hosted major racing events including NASCAR Cup Series races, NASCAR Xfinity Series competitions, and IndyCar Series events. The facility became known for its high-speed racing surface and drew fans and competitors from across Southern California and beyond. The track also served as a filming location for major motion pictures and became a landmark feature of Fontana's landscape.
A city that draws people to work and live in a region of constant motion—highways, trucks, industry always moving—understands how important it is that the people who matter most are taken care of if that movement suddenly stops. A term life policy sized to your household's real needs is the practical way to ensure that promise.
